Dear Mr and Mrs Abbott,

Thank you so much for your note. I have recently returned from STS-72. It was great.

I feel honored to have received mail from someone who contributed so much to the shuttle program. I don't know whether your electronics are still being used but I'll ask around to see if I can find out. That was an interesting problem you solved. Thanks for outstanding work. If it weren't for people like you, our space program would not be what it is today.

I do hope that we get an opportunity to meet at some time in the future.
